LARRY E. BALDING, 59, was born on January 28, 1944 in Little Rock, AR and died suddenly and unexpectedly on September 24, 2003 in Oklahoma City, OK. He was a member of the Little Rock Central High School class of 1962.
He served his country in the United States Air Force from August 9, 1966 to November 16, 1970, and was discharged as a Captain. He graduated from the University of Arkansas School of Medicine in 1980 and later joined the Oklahoma State Medical Examiners Office on July 1, 1984.
He had been a forensic pathologist and Deputy Medical Examiner in the Oklahoma City office for 19 years. Dr. Balding worked tirelessly for the public safety and public health of the citizens of Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his mother Lucille T. Balding and father Eugene Victor Balding.
He is survived by his wife, Cindy Balding; daughter, Susan Balding; uncle, Russell Balding and his wife Sara of Colorado; aunt Marima Fox and her husband John of California; numerous cousins, and a multitude of friends.
Memorial gifts may be made to the Humane Society of your choice. Memorial Services will were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 27, 2003 at Smith and Kernke Chapel, 14624 N. May Ave. He is deeply missed by all who knew him.

WILLIAM FREDERICK (BILLY) BALL, age 61, of Floyd, Arkansas, died Tuesday, January 4, 2005. He was a 1962 graduate of Little Rock Central High School. He was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a commercial artist and graphic designer and the owner of Designs and Signs. His lifelong hobby was antique cars. Bill was a member of Floyd United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Kathy Benton Ball; son, Andrew F. Ball of Floyd; daughter, Andrea Ball Scott and her husband Russell and grandson, Logan A. Ball of Jonesboro; sister, Jenny Lee “Sister” Shumate
and her husband Bob of North Little Rock; nephews, Jim, Jerry and John Kimbrough and their families. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Marian Ball and infant daughter, Emily Ball.

Visitation was 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral was 2 p.m. Saturday, January 8, 2005, at Westbrook Funeral Home with burial in New Floyd Cemetery.
